Adoption

All our adoptions are done by appointment only. You can find our animals available for adoption on our website in the section titled Adoption (catsdogs or small animals). Come back often and stay alert as our animals find their forever home quickly!

If you see an animal that you would like to adopt, fill out an adoption interest form and we will contact you to setup an appointment.

Animal admission

Like you, we want to make surrendering pets to the shelter the last resort. If you are unable to keep your pet at home, consider these steps first:

  • Have you attempted to re-home your pet yourself with a friend or family member?
  • Have you tried to re-home your pet yourself through acquaintances or social media?
  • Do you just need some behavioral advice to help you get through a small problem? Our counsellors may be able to support you in this process; contact us.

If none of these avenues are possible, fill out the form and we will contact you to coordinate your pet's entry into the shelter. Please note that depending on the shelter's capacity at any given time, it may take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks before we can accept your pet. Please be sure to give us as much information as possible when filling out the form so that we can properly assess your needs and situation.

Stray or lost animal

You have found an animal? Our team is here to help you. Please review the following sections before coming to the shelter with a found pet.

Lost your pet? We will help you find your pet and reunite the family. Visit the Lost animal page for full details and to report your missing pet.

Emergencies

For any emergencies, please call the Police Department of your municipality.

To report a case of animal abuse or neglect that you personally witnessed, regardless of your sector or municipality, please call 1-844-ANIMAUX. These reports are confidential.
